I'm offering a one-on-one personal conversation (not via Zoom!) about the artistic process with those of you wishing to paint, or already painting, the landscape, in oil or other media.
Whether you're a total beginner, or have been painting for a while, we'll talk about methods and materials, motivation, conception, composition, and anything else related to painting from nature. We can discuss your completed work and work in progress, or, if you haven't painted landscape before, how to get started. This is not a class, where we go out and paint together, or a course of instruction, but rather an informal chat, about ways of looking at the landscape and refining your skills and objectives over time.
You may arrange for an appointment via the Contact page, or call me at (415) 497-0438. My fee is $150. per hour.
